Enabling one of the UK’s leading underground boutique electronic music festivals create a video led identity.
Farr Festival had gained a reputation as a music festival of woodland dancing by night and an altogether different entity by day.
For this year’s site Farr Festival Website was looking for a more visually engaging site that captured all the elements the festival had to offer.
Mumu took the brief and decided to make a real focus on the day and night the festival has to offer, to break through the reputation of being a festival mainly focused at night time activities.
Working with their existing branding, Mumu identified the huge quantity of video from previous years. Mumu decided to use this as the key theme running throughout the website.
By creating video rich pages, the site reflected all the action both day and night across all stages. To introduce the day & night crossover, a ‘rave switch’ idea was conceived for all areas of the site. User controlled, it allowed site visitors to switch between day and night videos, reflecting the two sides to the festival.
A consistent end-to-end ticket buying process was implemented that ensured a branded checkout flow for customers from website through to payment.
Greater visual identity awareness of the festival.
A clearer understanding of higher conversion on ticket purchases.
